Fox Pens up for vote at Sept. 21st Natural Resources Commission Meeting September 19, 2010

Indiana must ban fox pens. In these pens, dogs compete in chasing down fenced-in foxes and coyotes, often killing the captive animals.
Please ask the Natural Resources Commission to consider a ban at their next meeting.
Thank the NRC for examination of the issue. Florida recently banned these pens. The NRC should move forward with prohibiting them in Indiana at the Sept. 21 meeting. Unethical pursuing of fenced captive foxes that are often sick and weak from being held captive is cruel and serves no conservation purpose.
